Cables.

Using PFT Leak Location, we can locate and pinpoint multiple failure points within fluid filled cable networks. Our methods are non-invasive and can be carried out whilst the cable is live.

Gas Filled

Cables.

Using our experience with the fluid filled cable network, we can also locate and pinpoint failures on gas insulated cables, our method is 10x more accurate than helium, as well as quicker.

Consultancy.

Utilise have undertaken a wide range of consultancy projects predominately focused on the impact of buried utilities and storage locations on the environment.

Utilise are specialists in PFT Leak Location and focus our work on locating and pinpointing failure points within the power distribution network. Our solution works on both gas and fluid filled cable types. We began working with fluid filled cables in 2007, with our first successful location later that year.

For fluid filled cables, our detection equipment allows us to detect leaks as small as 25l per month and we have a mobilisation time of just 48 hours.

Since 2007 we have undertaken 100's of locations across the globe with a 100% success rate and developed our technology allowing us to continue developing and manufacturing niche solutions for buried utilities.
